Lily and I are back in Colorado. It was a fun trip to Indiana to see the family. Lily really enjoyed spending time with her Nana and Babba and her aunties and uncles. I enjoyed it immensely and was sad to leave. I was quite happy to get back to my husband though. I missed him lots. (I also missed the low humidity and fresh nights of Colorado. However, the weather in Indy was quite nice save Hurricane Ike's appearance as a Depression through Indiana.)

On Wednesday, we went driving around Indy for a reminiscing trip. My sisters, Christie and Bonnie took me to my old house (one I lived in from about age 3 to 6ish). We also saw my old high school and my Nana and Papa's old house.

My old house! I remembered the yard being much much bigger. Funny how big things are when you are a child and when you go back to see it as an adult, it's a bit different. My bedroom was the window on the far left.

After having lunch with my Dad on Thursday, the sisters and I took Lily out for an ice cream and
Handles.

Lily's Babba is one of her most favorite people. This was the scene most nights after dinner. She almost never cuddles with us on the couch at home.
