It's officially Summer of 2013! Before more time passes, I wanted to post first day and last day pictures for Lily's Kindergarten year and Jack's Preschool year.

Haircut - Bangs

So a couple of months ago, Lily decided she wanted bangs. She cut them herself! After we discovered said bangs, Lily had to pay for a professional cut out of her allowance. I guess all girls go through this. I cut my own bangs once to a disastrous result. However, this haircut happened in 7th grade for me. Did I mention it was the day before school pictures?

A new kind of card

I realized it's my brother's birthday coming up this weekend. Happy Birthday Matthew! I normally make my own cards (don't worry, I haven't stopped making cards), but I thought this time I'd be a bit different. I used Shutterfly.com and it was very easy!

Amy's Visit 2013

My college best friend and her family came to for a visit this weekend. I loved having Amy here. It made me realize how much I miss hanging out with her. I met Amy our senior year in high school. We started hanging out more the summer between high school and college. She was my roommate for two years at Indiana University. She's been my friend in good times and bad and even when I wasn't so nice to be around. Thank you Ames! Miss you tons! Hope to see you very soon.
