I have a Science Explorer book from when I was a teacher's aide back in 199something. I found it the other day and the kids and I have been doing a few of the experiments. One of the activities is playing with cornstarch and water. I wasn't sure if it would be a hit, but they played with their ooze for over 30 minutes! I call that a success, especially for the toddler attention span.

We've never tried this! I'll have to remember it. Oh, wait, this is the same as oobleck! We haven't tried that either. I've just heard it's fun. :)
