A Little Less of Me

For those friends in Colorado, you know I've been doing Weight Watchers for several months now. I didn't want to blog about it until I hit a significant goal. Well, last Saturday I did! I am down 21.2 pounds!! I have about 15 more to go to be at the top of my healthy weight range. I will probably set my goal weight to the top of the range to make "Lifetime Membership". Depending how I feel and how my cholesterol numbers are, I may try to lose another 5 pounds or so from there.
For those of you who have known me a long time, you know I have never really been thin. I'm not out to be a supermodel, but to be in a normal weight range would be so very nice! If I can do 20+ pounds, I can get this additional 15 pounds. I'm hoping by this summer I'll be on a maintenance plan. Weight Watchers isn't for everyone, but really, it's the best for me. I need to be able to eat anything I want. I don't do well with diets that limit a whole food group such as a high protein diet or those silly diets like "the cabbage diet". Just wanted to toot my own horn for a minute. I see the Doctor in April and I'm hoping for low cholesterol numbers!! (they weren't so great last year)

Thanks to my family and friends who have supported me thus far!

Nice work, Jen! I need to start doing something soon, too. I lost weight with WW but was unable to keep it off. I have portion control problems. :) Look, I made these super healthy homemade granola bars ... and ate five of them in one day!

I too have portion control problems. I still have to measure out my meals or I go way overboard with my portions. I see your 5 granola bars and raise you 3! ha ha
