We spent 3 days on the beach and one day at the pool. Lily is a fish! She loved the ocean. She couldn't get enough of it. David took her out quite deep and she was all about the waves crashing on her. I was a bit nervous watching from the beach with Jack, but was so happy that Lily got to have this experience. I will say having a baby on the beach is a bit of a challenge. Feeding was the hardest with diapers a close 2nd. I'm not about sand everywhere while trying to breastfeed and diaper change. Oh well, again, I'm so happy we did this. Now I'm not afraid to take our kiddos on some road trips! I probably won't do another 14 hour day, but a 8 hour day to say Kansas City, or a 5 hour trip to Santa Fe may be nice!!
Thanks Family for a great trip! I miss you all so very much! Love!!

June 1st was my Dad's birthday. We had yummie red enchiladas for dinner and cake for dessert. My Dad got lots of love from the grandkids.

The Kids got lots of great Auntie and Uncle time. Doesn't Jack look just like Uncle Matt?
We had a few visitors too. My cousin Kathy was visiting Myrtle Beach from California the same time we were! On the right is my friend Jamie from I.U. and her son, Liam! Jamie lives in Charleston and came up for a few hours. Thanks Jamie! It was great to see you after all these years!

Great pics! Looks like you had a nice trip!! :)
I'm glad you all had such a good trip! I was wondering if that was the Jamie I knew! How funny. Wow -- I can't believe you went 14 hours in the car! Our girls were throwing full-volume screaming temper tantrums ALL the way home yesterday (about 12 hours).
