We are still here at the hospital. Jack is doing about the same. According to the doctor, the recovery will be slow. He will most likely be coughing for a couple more weeks. He will need to be on oxygen for another week. My friend, Leslie's little guy had oxygen for awhile this last December and I may get some tips from her.
We had the option to go home today, but I still feel unsteady about him, so we will be here one more night. Tomorrow we will take the little guy home along with oxygen. I will probably be a nervous wreck the first day we are home, but with David's help, we'll get through this. It will be a bit more challenging as I will have Lily to care for as well. The good thing is Jack is sleeping a bit more, so hopefully he will rest and get just healthy soon!
David and I are doing okay. I am staying here at the hospital while David takes care of Lily and visits me as much as he can. I'm a zombie right now, but am getting a bit of rest here and there.

Oh Jen, I just read this, I am so sorry you are having to deal with RSV in little Jack. I can't imagine how scary and frustrating it is. I will keep you guys in my thoughts, for strength and for Jack's health to improve quickly. Hang in there momma!
I'm sorry it is taking a while for Jack to recover. How difficult. :( It's times like these I really wish we lived closer. Lily could hang with us for a week! I wish I could do something.
