We had a laid back day. We had our friends Melanie and James and Baby Ian come by for dinner. We can see a few of the city's firework displays from our backyard, so it was nice to see the fireworks without the hassle of traffic.

That sounds nice. From what I've seen of your pics, you have such nice views in your backyard. We had to skip the fireworks entirely. Both girls were too tired and scared of loud noises. We had fun the rest of the day though, so no big loss.
