Indiana and Obama

Today my home state of Indiana is in the news for their primaries. My sisters, Christie and Bonnie, got to see Barack Obama speak last night in Indianapolis. They were quite excited after the event and called me. Apparently, they were in line for a long time before the speech. Here is a bit of their email to me.

Christie and I got to see Barack Obama tonight. We went downtown around 3:45 this afternoon, and waited in line for about 3 hours. We finally got into the park, got rained on, saw Stevie Wonder play 3 songs, and got rained on some more. Finally Barack came out, and we saw him speak. His message was both hopeful and inspiring.

Christie, Bonnie and I are Obama supporters. I don't mind Hillary so much, but I'm nervous about some choices she is making of late. I don't support the gas tax relief and I don't enjoy hearing the words "obliterate" when speaking of Iran. But, since this post isn't a "political" blog in nature, I'll keep the rest of my opinions to the ears of my husband, family and my other liberal friends :)

Bonnie and Christie

Stevie Wonder! (now that is cool no matter who you support!)
