6 Years

On May 22nd, David and I celebrated our 6th year Anniversary. These 6 years have gone by so fast. Apparently, the traditional 6-year gift is iron. David got me a cast iron tortilla press. David made homemade tortillas and they were delicious!

Happy 6 years David! I love you!

Military Friends

Michele, me, Nicole, Denise, Kristi, Monica

When you live in a Military Town, you often have to say goodbye to friends each summer. This year I have to say goodbye to a couple of friends. This was a going away party for my bookclub friend, Monica. We went to Old Chicago's for a nice dinner!

Pillowcase for my nephew

I made a pillowcase for my nephew, Grant. I will get to see him (for the first time) this June. I cannot wait!

Now that I have made a few pillowcases, I plan to take another class and hopefully start making more items!

Catching Up: Easter

I have not devoted much time to the computer lately. I just give myself enough time to do a quick check on Facebook, some food blogs and my email. I still have to work on our budget for the last month too! So far behind!

Here are some Easter pictures. We had a nice, quiet Easter this year.

Minted Pears! An Easter Tradition

Finished!

A couple of weeks ago, I finished Lily's knitted summer shirt-dress. She has yet to wear it as a part of her outfit, but perhaps when the weather warms up. It's been a mighty chilly Spring this year!
