Christie's Visit

My sister, Christie was here last week to help me out while David was out of town. Thank you again Christie! We had a nice time with Christie. We went bowling (didn't get any pictures - will have to ask Christie for them), we went out for ice cream and we went to the park. We also visited with several of my girl friends. It was a good week!

David is out of town on a business trip. I will most likely publish this once he gets back - just in case some weirdo is reading this. Anywho, David left Sunday afternoon for a business trip to Cincinnati. He will return on Friday. My sister, Christie, flies in tonight (Monday). I cannot wait to see her. I have also acquired a cold, so this makes being a Mommy with no other adult help a bit challenging. I'm hopped up on cold medicine and will probably be so the rest of the day. I'm in survival mode. And one of the worst things about not having David here? I have to make my own coffee! Yes, I'm a spoiled princess.

Fruits and Veggies

Trying to eat more fruits and veggies lately...this was a salad I made one night this week. Arugula, carrots, blueberries, mangoes, Gouda cheese, tomatoes and David grilled up a chicken breast and it was a great dinner!
