First and Last

I can't believe how big Lily got this school year. This is her first day and last day of school pictures.

5 Years

Today is David and my 5th year anniversary. Happy 5 years David! We have accomplished quite a bit in these 5 years and I'm grateful for everything we have. We have a spectacular life. Even through all the bumps in the road, I'd choose David again and again. Love you Bun!

Today is also my good friend, Christine's birthday. She was one of my bridesmaids and shared her birthday with our wedding day. Thanks again sista!

I can't look

Since Lily was a very tiny baby (okay, not very tiny...but small enough), David has been throwing our children around like circus balls. Sometimes I can't look. I did take these pictures for proof, and yes, they were hard to take.

The car seat blanket for Bonnie? check!

I mentioned I was making a blanket for a friend who was pregnant, due in November. Well, my friend is my sister, Bonnie. She wasn't mentioning her pregnancy quite that early, so I had to be vague. I finished the blanket this week. Bonnie - I'll be mailing this out to you early next week!

This little cutie is Jack's favorite friend, Zoey. We had playgroup today and Jack was quite excited to see his BFF.

Hanging out.

I love the hugs. Jack is very affectionate and I love it! Still not loving the bottle - a work in progress.

Lily went to do the dentist early last month. She did great! Yes, it took me this long to download the photos. :)

My Little Flirt

Tonight we went out for pizza with my good friend, Nicole and her family. Lily and Nicole's daughter, Jenna hung out. Jenna is so good with Lily. Jenna is 8 years old and Lily and I decided to call her "Lily's pretend big sister". They seriously could be related. They both have light hair and blue eyes with some similar features.

Jack did well too for a 16 month old. After pizza we went for ice cream. While enjoying our ice cream, Jack decided to check out the chalk board they have for the kids. He noticed a little girl just younger than him crawling around. Jack went over to the chalk bin, picked up a chalk and tried to give the little girl a piece of chalk. Of course we didn't let this transaction happen as the chalk was a bit too small for this little girl. Jack attempted this move about 5 times. It was quite cute. Then, as we were walking back to our car, there was a little boy about Jack's age on the sidewalk with his Dad. Jack got so excited when we saw this little guy. Jack and the little boy blew each other kisses and waved bye-bye. So very cute. I think we have ourselves a people person with Jack. He seems happiest when playing with other children and when out in the public. He reminds me a lot of my brother, Matthew.
