The kids...
Today we went to the doctor's office for Jack's 2 month appointment. According to the Doctor, Jack didn't pass his night time pulse ox test last Thursday and needs to stay on oxygen at night. Yesterday, the nurse told me he'd have to be all full time, so this was good news. This Thursday he will have another night time test. We plan to stay up with him to ensure the little machine is working correctly. We have a sneaky suspicion that he didn't pass due to the machine flaking out on us quite a bit. We are going to keep a journal of the pulse ox numbers and times and when the machine stopped working for us. Here's hoping he is off full time on Friday!
It's been quite nice here in Colorado. David took Lily to the park for awhile and she enjoyed the swings. Those are her most favorite! Now that Jack is off O2 during the day, I may see if we can get out a little bit later this week. Perhaps a run to the closest Starbucks is in order!? I can get myself a mocha or latte and Lily can enjoy a steamed cow or hot cocoa. As much as Jack would love a coffee, he's still just on mama milk :)

Jack has great eyebrows. :) I hope you don't have to do the oxygen through the weekend! I didn't even think about how that would tie you to home all the time!
I need to get Elise a steamed milk sometime. Of course, that could create an expensive monster. Right now she's happy with the coffee shop's mini cups of water.
i'm so sorry to hear that jack didn't pass the night time test. i imagine you were checking him all the time that night so it's weird that it didn't work. i bet you may be right about the machine being funky. at least he is off during the day!
